August is currently a student at UMD, majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Arts in Media. They were inspired to join the DCWC team after visiting the Nourish kitchen with their art class to make sound collages. They can typically be spotted pointing a camera at our volunteers, or drafting some form of graphic or newsletter. When they’re not being Nourish’s personal paparazzi, they’re typically found ballroom dancing, making art, or rehearsing for the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” shadowcast they’re a part of.
