Angie Ahlgren is the Executive Assistant to the Head of School at Marshall School in Duluth. She believes preparing and sharing food is a powerful mode of community-building and came to DCWC as a volunteer in the Nourish program. She is also a part-time employee at the Duluth Kitchen Company and an even more part-time poet and author. Prior to returning to her home state of Minnesota, she served as theatre faculty at Bowling Green State University, Texas A&M University, and Ohio University, where her research focused on contemporary Asian American, feminist, and queer performance forms. She lives in Duluth with her Border Terrier, Juniper.
